As soon as I arrived at iconic hostel I was welcomed by the lovely sahli and later on the wonderful Elena. They both manage the place perfectly and are always there to help and answer any questions you may have about the area etc. I felt safe, comfortable, and at home for my week spent there and found that the rooftop is a great place where you can meet other solo travellers and all enjoy chilling there together in the evening. Best hostel I have ever stayed in,honestly cannot wait to return! X

It is located in a very lively and busy part of Athens, so if you are there for the night life and plan on staying up all night long, you're going to love the location. If you want however to get a good night's rest, either equip yourself with good quality earplugs or consider a different quarter.
The staff is very friendly and happy to help, the only issue is that there is not a clear schedule of when they are around.

This is the place to stay in Athens! The location is incredible, only steps away from amazing restaurants and bars, and a 2 minute walk to the metro (goes directly to airport as well!) that connects you to the rest of Athens in minutes! And the staff! I cannot say enough about Helena and her teammates, they are so welcoming and always happy to help, giving me and my friends some awesome recommendations. The room was clean and the air conditioning was cold- a must in the heat of Athens!
