Really helpful staff, super accommodating to us randomly changing our stay dates. Beds have privacy curtains which are nice. Only downside of this place is that the bathroom in the room smelled like mold (from the shower) and I don't think it's cleaned often enough. Also, the area surrounding it is a party area so it will be loud at night!
The staff was friendly enough. Location was close to metro and a few nice spots to eat. The real downfall was how dirty it was, mainly the kitchen. I was there for as 4 days with the same disgusting dirty rags and hand towels for kitchen use. The equipment in the kitchen was sparse to say the least. At one point I watched the housekeeper clean the toilet and turn around to wipe down out bathroom sink with the same rag. YUCK!!
This was my first time staying in a hostel with so many beds. The property has an industrial vibe so it didn't feel the cleanest. The plastic curtain covering the bed was stiff and dusty and overall felt a little worn. That being said, the location and the price were great. There are clubs, bars and restaurants surrounding the metro station which is just a block away.

The bed was ok but when I moved it a bit, there were a lot of things just under the mattress (packages, tissues...)
The way to go to the very center is 20min walk and it's not great either.

One of the best hostels I have ever stayed at. From the staff even down to the other hostellers, everyone was just amazing! This created a great atmosphere along with the facilities being exceptional! Absolutely spotless clean with hygiene standards second to none. Best part of the hostel is the roof top with beautiful sights across all the main attractions to the Athens area!

He was super friendly and helpful, he also upgraded me and my partner to a double bed for our first night and gave us some great recommendations for food with a stunning view of the city. The rooms were clean and comfortable and you have your own privacy even in the dorms which is great. The roof top is good for some evening drinks and to chat with the other guests and the hostel is right by the metro station and yummy places to eat breakfast!

I only had one problem in trying to sleep at night while a party was going on the rooftop of the hostel, and my bed was literally 2 meters away.. howerver itu2018s a young place I understand people want to party and go late to bed thatu2018s why I didnu2018t make it a thing out of it.
Overall I recommend it!
As soon as I arrived at iconic hostel I was welcomed by the lovely sahli and later on the wonderful Elena. They both manage the place perfectly and are always there to help and answer any questions you may have about the area etc. I felt safe, comfortable, and at home for my week spent there and found that the rooftop is a great place where you can meet other solo travellers and all enjoy chilling there together in the evening. Best hostel I have ever stayed in,honestly cannot wait to return! X
